Nope. CMA wasn’t crazy about the idea. Herman brought that in from Ohio State as Meyer does that at his coaching stops.

I know this is just one play but did anyone else see the LBs stay back and withhold pressure… Im having flashbacks from last season lol but i get its just one play just thought it was funny

For the play you’re talking about, I believe was a run to the right (notice Ed spin to pursue the ball behind the the d-line and the guard pull), so the LB would have rushed themselves out of the play if they had applied pressure. BTW the run looks like it was stopped in the backfield or at the line.

Idk if it was stopped the RB got the ball and the video cuts off. You can see a slight hesitation where hes looking for space and then cuts but i agree with the rest of what you said.
