Yes. I’ve got a friend who umped some San Jac games. He told me they trottted out pitcher after pitcher throwing 95+. Of course they went Juco route looking to be drafted as early as possible

He just started throwing again around the beginning of spring. He’s assigned to a summer league team and I’ll track him to see if he pitches there.

And there’s always a chance that Cumbie and/or Fletcher come back. If they don’t like where they’re drafted or can’t work out something with whoever drafts them
might see them again next year. Same goes for Joe Davis.

Funny thing is, the rule is to suspend play when lightning is within 10 miles an it’s currently within 7. Yet, on Friday night when that rain storm was hitting in the middle innings, I was watching the weather and there was lightning within 5 at a few points
never suspended the game.
