I just navigated over to uhcougars.com and the schedule posted there for this game shows a start at 2:00 pm. My espn web page for the game also has 2 pm. I realize that these small matters remain fluid in this time of the __________ (which must not be mentioned) but are you sure of the 11:00 am tipoff time?
My mistake…I was pulling from ESPN, which automatically converted the time to Pacific. I thought it was Eastern…so I miscalculated. Good catch!
Cool, thanks! Now, let us just hope we have a basketball season.
Should be an easy win. Hope we see a lot of threes falling and some Broodo/Elvin time at the end.
Adding some entertainment to help pass the time…
Any stating 5 predictions coogfans?
I’m expecting Q, Dejon, Caleb, Bryson, Gorham. Also think we start with other players and work our starters in.
Grimes, Sasser, Mills, Gorham, Gresham. Dejon first off the bench.
Dejon, Sasser, Q, Gorham, Gresham
Mills 1st off the bench. I don’t see Sasser and Shead playing together much.
I agree with @Jcoop9. Seems strange having Caleb come off the bench, but I have a feeling the 2nd unit is going to need some instant offense, at least until Tramon Mark can get his feet under him. Assuming Caleb doesn’t start, I have a feeling it won’t be long before he gets into the game unless that 1st unit is just killing it.
Not sure how the rotations might work, but one floor pairing I’m looking forward to seeing is Mills and Tyson. With Caleb’s ability to create off the dribble, collapsing defenses might create some really good looks for Tyson.
I wanted to go with this one. For Caleb’s instant impact off the bench. But I just have a feeling Tramon will take over that instant impact off the bench role this year.
I wish I could fast forward through the commercials waiting for this game.
The bench should be as powerful as the 18-19 bench. Mark, Tyson, Mills/Sasser and Shead provides a lot options. If Chaney/Roberts are solid the team will be literally 11 deep.
Sweet!
I felt like last year outside of the starters, the next 5 could have been starters for a lot of programs. I feel that way again about this year. So much talent on this team! Can’t wait to see how well they play together.
Jarreau, Mills, Grimes, Gorham, Gresham
Chaney first off the bench
We have 10 high quality players.
All will play.
We’re about to not lose a game this season
Oh Lord. What is this, like our fifth straight undefeated season in a row? I’ve lost count,…Oh wait…
