Sims are favoring Coogs quite big in this matchup. In 35 random sims, Coogs victorious in 31 of them, with 16 of them being 20-point-plus wins. Average score is 76-58. UConn missing Tyler Polley apparently doesn’t help its chances much, and the sims are reflecting his absence here as well.
Looking for big things from Deeky tonight. He was huge in Storrs last year even took some of Galens minutes. Tonight he’s gonna play like it’s his birthday.

Good defense is contagious. When you have a defender shutting down their best player, like we shut down Stephenson of WSU, the rest of the team picks it up, and knowing if they don’t CKS will sit them is motivation. Plus, if you have played basketball, holding a high scoring team to 50 pts makes you feel like you balled out.

I noticed UConn D is ranked #49, whereas we are #77.
They also lead the league in blocks per game at 7.1. I think it will be a good game.
Walkup will sell those 50 easily.
Not that I’m complaining, but Jon Rothstein must have a dear family member somewhere that is a UH alum or something…he is good for at least one positive tweet a week about the Coogs and it’s been that way for a while now! Great endorsements!
