Started 17-0, finished 7-10 and 1st round tournament exit. Avery Bradley, Dexter Pittman, Damion James, Jordan Hamilton. I kind of remember the hype around Bradley but don’t remember them at #1. Looked like a typical UT season beating a bunch of bums with a couple good wins sprinkled in, then falling apart in conference.

Texas Tech was so close to #1, they are more deserving.
