Heebner went 2-2 with three complete games and a 1.46 ERA across games at Lamar and the Cougars’ weekend series against Wichita State.
At Lamar, the native of Sedalia, Colo., took the hard-luck loss in an eight-inning complete game where she didn’t allow an earned run.
Against WSU, Heebner appeared in all three games of the series. She tossed a four-hitter with no walks and four strikeouts in the series opener. After a relief appearance on Saturday, Heebner limited the Shockers to three runs on nine hits while walking and striking out three apiece in the rubber game to clinch the series.
Hitting for herself, Heebner led the team with six hits across a five-game week, going 6-for-18 (.333) with a .611 slugging percentage, one double, two triples, two RBI, four runs scored and one stolen base.
