Cinci 5 ECU 3 end of 8
Did they just call the USF-WS game a tie? Edit: Sure did

Per USFs twitter feed, the game ended in a tie.
That eliminates USF since they wonât be able to equal Houstonâs win total.
Pirates not going down easy
Cinci about to blow it
Cincy blew it.
Have to wait until next weekend. ECU travels to UCONN.
Lets hope Uconn can take one next weekend to eliminate the Pirates
Definitely. I think UConn takes the series.
Coogs finished the week 53rd in Warren Nolanâs RPI and 52nd in D1Baseballâs RPI
Have to agree with Lael here; absolutely ridiculous stadium at UCONN. Supposedly they are upgrading it and actually installing lights, but they should be better than this.

Went back and watched the video of the Play where Whitting was ejected. Tough to tell because of where the camera angle is from high above behind home plate. Looked like a Bang Bang Play at 1st, but the throw home beat the runner. When Lovelace swiped to tag, it looked like he got him, but the ump was blocked by Lovelace. After the swipe, Since Lovelace didnât hear a call, he dove at the runner who had missed the plate to try to tag him out. I think the ump then assumed that Lovelace missed the tag since he went after him again, but it was his own fault for not being in position to see the initial play to be able to make the call.
I think Whitting got ejected partly because of a questionable balk call on Pulido two batters before that put the runner at 2nd. Pulido sometimes has a bit of a hitch when he comes set before he delivers, but he doesnât always do it. The 2nd base ump called the balk on a pitch where he clearly stopped for a good second or two, but didnât do the hitch. Pretty bogus call in a tight game in that situation.
Already $18 of $25 million raised.
