Houston gets $445,000 from the NEA, and here's every project being funded

University of Houston: $25,000
To support an artist residency at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts. Performer and writer Okwui Okpokwasili will participate in a residency at the Mitchell Center. In collaboration with Project Row Houses, Okpokwasili will work closely with Nigerian and Nigerian-American communities in Houston as well as University of Houston students.
