The Basketball Tipoff Event will be Cougar fans’ first opportunity to meet the coaches and student-athletes from both 2017-18 Cougar Basketball teams. The event will take place on the sport court outside Schroeder Gate 1 at TDECU Stadium, beginning at 5:15 p.m., Thursday.
Action will start with a shooting contest between the two teams. Select men’s and women’s student-athletes will team with UH students in a 2-on-2 competition. Following the shooting contest, the two teams will compete in a dance competition,
The Men’s and Women’s teams wrap the event with an autograph session before heading into the stadium to enjoy the Football game.
