In our climate turf saves ton of rainoutsā¦but Iād prefer dirt vs turf on the bump
Another huge factor that is over looked is with turf the field brings in money from youth tournaments, camps, etc year round
To clarify, I donāt care what Aggie fans thinkā¦ UT also happens to play on artificial turf for that matter. I would just like us to get rid of the turf around the bases and on the moundā¦ looks too āartificialā for me.

I do agree that I wish we had a more traditional dirt field; just donāt have the money to sustain it right now.
