Awesome that Branham’s moving over to handle Men’s basketball. He’s great on the baseball broadcasts and did well on the women’s broadcasts last year.

Branham, a longtime fixture on the Houston Athletics broadcast scene, remains courtside to call the action of Kelvin Sampson’s program after 10 years of play-by-play for the Houston Women’s Basketball program. Branham has also served as the Houston Football sideline reporter and radio coach’s show host for the past four seasons while spending seven seasons in the radio booth for the Houston Baseball program.

A 2010 University of Houston graduate, Branham was named to STAA’s Top 30 Broadcasters Under 30 list in 2014 and has filled a variety of broadcast roles in the Houston market including the radio play-by-play role for the Houston Dynamo in 2016.

No stranger to the Houston Women’s Basketball program, Sanchez has filled in the play-by-play role for the program, along with the Houston Baseball program, over the last 10 years. A UH broadcast journalism grad, Sanchez is the vice president of broadcasting and marketing for the Houston-based Legacy Sports Network.
