Terribly sad. He insisted on trying to get to work to serve his community in terrible conditions. A hero.

We need a first responders and volunteers monument. I saw the press conference and our police chief and Mayor both really honored this officer with their words.

It was very emotional.
I have no doubt a monument will get built somewhere down the road after we’ve done some recovery. Whenever that might be.
