Nice temps today, but rain is all around the stadium

Lightning Delay. Could be awhile looking at the radar

We’ll be lucky if this starts before 5.

If that’s the case, do you think if (when) we win, it will be too late to start the 2nd game and we’ll play the double header tomorrow? That would at least take A&M’s advantage away.

Possible, depends on how late this game goes tonight.

I believe the rule is the game has to start by 10

Based on the weather maps, the first game today looks more likely to start sometime around 7:00 pm.

I think you are right. It looks like thunderstorms crossing UH until 7pm.

Here the current view:

UAlso has to be 55 minutes between games.

Last game between UH and Iowa took 4 hours and the game yesterday was about 3 1/2 (not counting the rain delay).

So, game probably has to start NLT 6 pm to have a chance, but, realistically, probably 5:30.

If it does get pushed, hopefully Ullom can go long as that will set us up well tomorrow. Can probably get a few innings out of Cumbie, Villarreal will be rested and you’ve still got Henry and Hurdsman along with just about the entire pen.

Aggies would be rested, but their top 2 starters are the ones to worry about and both already went. Plus, they’d have to play a doubleheader like UH would if we get to that point.

Rain dying down, lightning not. Still going to be awhile.

Aggie official account is saying the cutoff time is 11 pm, but they can be flexible.

Vendors are prepping for 1 game tonight and 2 tomorrow based on what I heard, but that’s not official.

Sam Khan saying that rumor is 7 pm start time at the earliest.

Rain picking up again.

Being 2000 miles from H-town i went to a bar to watch the game. I won’t remember this one no matter how it turns out.

Don’t think we’re starting at 7. Maybe 8. Maybe 9.

Looks like another line of storms west of Columbus moving towards straight to Houston. Looks like they are intensifying and will need to see if they hold up…could cancel the game today, and another 70 percent chance of rain tomorrow. Maybe they can move it to Minute Maid since Astros are playing awaw?

Any idea about TV?

8:30 start time just announced.
