Unless we don’t have any other pitchers, this was an unbelievably embarrassing coaching mistake - leaving a guy out there who has given up 4 or 5 straight hits. Especially in an elimination game. Nobody does that. Nobody.
Now in the exact same circumstances, the Iowa coach pulls his starting pitcher after he has given up 3 straight hits. Of course 99+% of the coaches in America would have done the same thing.
