SCOUTING THE RED RAIDERS
Texas Tech enters Wednesday’s contest with a 4-3 mark on the season and a 3-0 record inside United Supermarkets Arena.

The Red Raiders have three players who average double figures in scoring. Recee Caldwell leads the team with 19.6 points per game, while Jada Terry scores 14.1 and Arella Guirantes contributes 14.0.

Terry is the team leader on the boards averaging 7.3 rebounds per contest, while Guirantes pulls down 6.4 and Dayo Olabode brings in 4.7.

As a team the Red Raiders are averaging 72.7 points per game, while allowing opponents to score just 67.0. Texas Tech and its opponents pull down the same amount of rebounds per game at 43.9 apiece. As a team, Tech shoots 43.6 percent from the field including 37.1 from beyond the 3-point line, while opponents shoot 36.2 percent from the field and 25.5 from deep.

Tech has a good chance of making the tournament this year so this was expected. The bench continues to be a bright spot so far. Rutgers is next and it should be a good chance for the Coogs to beat a P5 team.
