Redshirt freshman Hunter Edwards pitched a career-long 2.1 innings in relief, allowing just two hits, while shutting San Diego down. He handed the ball over to sophomore Lael Lockhart Jr., who earned his first career save, allowing just one bunt single and a walk in 0.2 innings.
