What was the issue in Cherry not playing more early in the season? I thought coming in he was a player that could be a key contributor as he happens to be now.
He got hurt during the Fall scrimmage and can’t play in the field. The thought was he’d be out for the season, but he was able to come back and be a DH.
Good win - good to see Pettite get in some solid work, albeit a fairly limited outing. Seems to me we are on the bubble and every win counts. If I have this right this is the Coogs first neutral field win - so very welcome.
