Second year in a row that a UCF game against a “P5” is cancelled due to weather …

(Alfred Matthews) #3

yeah that sucks for them. i wonder what that means should us and them be undefeated. will the aac title game come to Houston due to us having one more win as them?

(Cary) #4

I believe the tie-breaker in the event of undefeated seasons is CFP ranking.

Edit: confirmed. It is the CFP.

UVA vs Ohio was moved to Nashville. We should offer up our stadium for UCF to play UNC.

(Doug Parmer) #6

It’s a conspiracy.

#7

State vs WVU May still be rescheduled. There are a couple of plausible options.

(Nathan Williams) #8

ECU has also been postponed/possibly canceled.

(DERRICK KATELY) #9

Lol…yes don’t cancel the but whipping UNC…TDECU is available with adequate seating available…let’s ask Khator to offer UNC help…

(Patrick) #10

If the AAC is willing, there is a fairly easy scenario to reschedule the UCF/UNC game:

  • Move the UCF-SMU game back a week to Oct 13th
  • Move the Memphis-UCF game back two weeks from the Oct 13th to Oct 27th
  • That would free up UCF to play UNC on Oct 6th when the Tar Heels have a bye week.

The Virginia Tech-ECU game is almost impossible to make up.

#11

UNC is going to find every excuse not to reschedule. UNC does not want to take an embarrassing lost.

UNC (and ECU) dodged major bullets.
