I shouldn’t have done it

I shouldn’t have shook my fist at God during Harvey and yelled “Is this all that you’ve got?”

Seriously a tropical storm and a hurricane at the same time?

Yeah we don’t want the fujiwara effect and have them start circling each other and gaining strength.

A fujiwara double hurricane sounds like it came from a Chinese lab too :woozy_face:

Perhaps we should have a stern conversation with those dudes. I could possibly get past a worldwide pandemic but a double wide hurricane…no thats where I personally draw the line.

We’re going to take the brunt of two hurricanes next week :smirk:

Yep its been an interesting year:

  • Astros one World Series called into question
  • AJ Hinch fired
  • World wide pandemic
  • Coogs Final Four run terminated
  • Economy in the tank
  • Riots
  • Back to Back hurricanes

OK 2020 you win.

Looks like the LA/MISS border. Tilman’s casino in the crosshairs.

Hope he wins the NBA to ease the pain of 2020

The current models have both of them hitting New Orleans about 50 hours apart. Talk about a double whammy. Marco is supposed to be a Cat 1 or even tropical storm at land fall to soften up the city and fill the waterways. Laura will then come in as anything from a Cat 1 on up. There are all kinds of possibilities that Laura could be a really major hurricane.

I really feel for the people of Louisiana and Mississippi. While the eye looks to hit New Orleans, the Mississippi coast is on the dirty side and may be hit by another large storm surge. We need to send up our prayers for those in harms way.

Well…let’s keep an eye on them because Harvey was a tropical storm headed into Tampico Mexico !!!

Today, August 23rd is the 15th year anniversary of the day Hurricane Katrina was born and soon evolved to a Cat 5 until it ended its damage on 8/31/2005.
