I would not call all the guys on that list good players just yet. They may be but there are still a few there who will get their turn to step up this season.
0ur safety position has a chance to be a strength of the team. It will really help if Carmouche and Femming are good players this season.
Ah OK I got you. I agree with that. It’s a coach’s job to turn teams around quickly no matter what mess the previous coach left behind. I’d be surprised if anyone complains about JUCOs the first two seasons, if they are making immediate contributions. If a coach knows he is going the juco route the first couple of years, it also means he can plan to be pickier on not just filling up his scholarship limit with high school players that are high risk for being academic casualties.
