Julks Named American Player of the Week - Cumbie makes Honor Roll

The junior is now hitting .306 on the year with 52 hits, 27 runs scored and 33 RBI – for third-best on the team. He upped his home run total to five and is 13-for-18 on the base paths.

Julks became the fourth Cougar this season to earn Player of the Week honors as Grayson Padgett, Connor Wong and Jake Scheiner were honored earlier this year.


The win lifted Cumbie’s record to a 8-1 mark in 12 starts. He now enters the week, leading the pitching staff with an ERA of 2.14.
