Keep an eye on San Diego State

Well i guess that says more about Stanford fans than San Diego State fans because they had 46k when they played UC Davis.

I am more worried about Texas Tech.

Who cares about rankings in September.

True guys. I mean, if us fans don’t make every thread mention Texas Tech, it’s our fault if the team loses. SMH

Maybe we should try and schedule them for OOC play.

Unfortunately, it’s not worth it for either team. While it would be a great matchup, it would be looked down upon as a “G5” matchup meaning neither team would benefit from it while the loser would lose a lot. Problem with the current system.

Also, we don’t recruit in San Diego and they don’t recruit Houston. Better to keep it to bowl matchups unless SDSU wants to come back to the AAC.

I agree. Two G5 teams that are getting votes for the top 25 playing each other don’t get as much respect for the win as they each would get for beating an unranked P5 team and the one that loses gets the “overrated” label.

Clearly U of H, SDSU, Memphis, USF, UCF, NIU and a few other G5’s belong in a P5. espitty won’t mention it. They live of the cartel. It is obvious that the main media does not want to speak about it. This is extremely frustrating and the subject should be hammered at every G5 games. I like the P6 flag idea but more, much more is needed. The perfect scenario would be multiple G5 go undefeated and start a class action lawsuit. We can’t lay down and do nothing.

This is from the local San Diego area radio station/site. chargers but also SDSU info.
