Earlier this year, Sampson was recognized as the American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and the National Association of Basketball Coaches District 25 Coach of the Year, earning each of those awards for the second straight season.

The fact that Mrs. Sampson does all she does to make a family atmosphere for the players cannot be overestimated. She is an important member of the team, be it unofficial.
I am just thrilled that to have their whole family involved with our team.
