Kerr and Mechler will each be in action at 11 a.m., on Thursday for the qualifying round of the men’s long jump. Qualifying athletes will advance to the finals of the long jump at 6 p.m., Friday. Athletes will need to jump at least 24-3.5 (7.40m) to advance to the final round or the top-3 athletes will advance if the standard is not met.
Kerr will also compete in the finals of the men’s triple jump at 6 p.m., Saturday.
