For the second consecutive season the University of Houston Swimming & Diving program had athletes selected as Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar’s.
Micaela Bouter and Peyton Kondis were each named First Team Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholars, exhibiting excellence both in the pool and in the classroom. The award honors undergraduate student-athletes who have excelled both in the classroom and in their respective sports. The award is named after tennis legend Arthur Ashe Jr. who was committed to education, community and leadership.
