Great post I have wondered the same thing when the NIL was approved. Can Tilman and his family be “breaking” ncaa rules if they do sponsor athletes?

no reason we can’t do the same with the golden nugget

Golden Corral

A chocolate fountain on the concourse? I vote yes!

I was thinking about this. Once he’s off the board of regents I see no reason they can’t have their likeness appearing all over the place in Kemah.

I thought it would be Boudin Barn.

Caesars is investing heave in Louisiana , it’s now the Caesars Superdome .

Maybe HEB will get involved. It IS the biggest employer in Texas and they really like to corner the Houston pro teams.

Do we have a staff working solely on things like this?

NIL and new sponsorship opportunities?

HEB sponsored the Bayou Bucket

and Las Vegas with his cousins.

I mean the team directly…NIL

HEB is the name sponsor of Bevo Boulevard gameday experience in Austin. Therefore, F-HEB!

We can counter with:
Traders Joe’s
Fiesta
Randall’s
Kroger
Whole foods
Food Town
All are better than heb

Until Texas legalizes gambling I don’t see how we could do what Caesars is doing for LSU. Our move to a P5 conference was a surprise to many and long overdue. So is legal casino gambling. There is much I like about the conservative slant of our politics but the obstinate opposition to casinos seems drawn from the shallow end of the stupid pool. Among the advantages to our state is the tax revenue which would be substantial. Maybe legalizing casinos could be TF’s cause to champion.

Does Tilman’s Lake Charles casino advertise in the greater Houston area?

Gambling associated with sports. What could go wrong?

It’s been around longer than we’ve been alive, and it isn’t going away.

Adapt and embrace.

C’mon. No they are not.
