Coogs killed it on the 1st day. Let’s see if they can keep it up over the next two days.

Coogs have moved into the lead and opened a 4 stroke advantage late in the 2nd round. Impressive outing so far.

UH has a six stroke lead in the 2nd round. I’m impressed because the #1 (Wake Forest) and #2 (SMU) ranked golf programs in the country are playing in this tournament.

Got to hand it to Dismuke…he’s turned things around.

It’s a positive sign, but we need consistency. Also how is it we’re the host of a tournament in the Bahamas?

If this truly becomes the norm and we are competitive again, I will humbly eat crow for some of the comments I have made here. Did not see this coming.

Half way through the 3rd round we are playing well and continue to hold a five stroke lead. Arkansas is making a charge. WF and SMU are fading. Looking good for the finish, but we have to finish.

Good lord, Arkansas is making a huge run to try and win this thing. 3 strokes back and it isn’t as if the Coogs are playing badly. Just got to hang on.

We stand a good chance of winning this tournament. We’re shooting a lights out -10 for the final round and still maintain a 6 stroke lead with 3-6 holes to play.

Looks like we got it. 6 strike lead with only a couple of golfers left to finish up. Arkansas fell back a bit and FSU now in 2nd.

Congrats, Coogs.

When you consider our recent struggles, this is a big step forward. We must be more consistent but this is a great way to complete the fall schedule. Great positives to start the Spring next year.
