8-3 the rest of the way (no matter the combination) PLUS one win in the tourney gets them in pretty comfortably. Anything less than that, and they’ll need some help.

SMU is in serious trouble. They were already a very shallow team and just lost one of their biggest contributors. Prior to Foster going down, they got nearly all of their production from 6 guys. Now that’s 5 guys. A team like UH should be able to put a depleted SMU away on nothing more than sheer intensity. I can guarantee you if we put forth the same intensity the rest of the way that we put forth against Wichita State, this team is incredibly dangerous. Very much looking forward to playing Cincy to see what this team really has.
