Great event last year. Will be interesting to see how all of our new coaches conduct themselves. Wishing they would have more one on one interaction with the CP members. I’ll be there.
How hard is it to get a time and location for an event. Another question is why advertise it when those two items are not already scheduled?
Signing day event in February 2016 was 6:00 PM in the club level of TDECU. If I had to guess same this year. But you’re correct in they should be able to provide time and location if they are advertising the event.
Wonder if those two things are impacted by the Super Bowl stuff.
Good point. I believe UH is the site for the NFC to practice or that is my recollection of what I heard on the local news at some point.
And February 1st is a home basketball game that starts at 6 PM. Lots to consider here. It will be interesting to see the time as I won’t miss the basketball game for this event but I would not mind a double-header.
They probably can’t move the basketball game because of TV. If you move the signing day event before the game, it will be too early for many, and if you move it until after the game, it will be too late for others. Sounds like a dilemma. I’m with you, Dave. I would take a double-header.
The game is on ESPNU and they scheduled games at 6, 8 and 10. No way the basketball schedule changes so the signing event definitely needs to be started earlier.
4:30 PM to 6:00 PM…looks like I will have to have a “medical appointment” that afternoon
If that’s the case, I hope there are plans for everyone at the event to attend the basketball game. It’s important for the different sports to support each other when there isn’t a conflict.
