NCAA T&F Championships Friday (Coogs finish 3rd)

Tech high jumper out after the 2.15m. They won’t score any points in the event.

Florida jumper is successful at 2.18m

My wife rolls her eyes when I find creative ways of getting out of working out at the gym with her.

She just looked at me with an eye roll and said “Seriously!?!..Track and Field” When I said I can’t go tonight watching UH go for it in the TF nationals.

Does the staff just not effectively recruit distance runners? Or field event?

Why don’t we compete in more events??? We would be able to win Natty easier? Money??

Hard to get distance runners. We did have Barazza though. Jefferson also finished 2nd in the long jump. Just aren’t known yet for those so we’ve concentrated on sprints.

Do have some decent recruits coming in for some of the other events.

Wish Lattin could do damage in 110H… as all ESPN does is talk about a 2-man race between UK and FLA runners :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Texas now not predicted to finish in the top 10 after scoring no points in the 1500m

I figured it had to do with who is available on staff and their strengths as well as scholarships.

What are the odds BYU doesn’t win this place one of their 4 guys?

Never mind, BYU has 3 guys hanging by a thread…
