Nebraska Fred Hoiberg

Left game early feeling sick, sent for testing.

This isn’t looking good.

Writing on the wall.

It’s why things like this get cancelled, because there’s always at least one “that person”.

Its easy for a guy sitting in his twitter play box critiquing every act of every other person in the world. I’ve spoken to no less that five people today with either a fever or snivels (in public). Should I have made myself feel better by berating their intelligence? I don’t think so.

Ummm. Did you not see Fred on the sidelines tonight? That was reckless decision making.

Depends are they basically exhibiting all the symptoms of a serious contagious illness? Could they afford to stay home? If the answer is yes to both these questions, like Hoiberg. Then yes, they deserve belittling because they are putting other people at risk.

Whatever. There are thousands of people walking around all of you today with varying degrees of colds, flu, viruses, allergies, etc.

The reason this poor bastard has twatter heat is because sports fans uniquely feel the need to critique things, usually publicly.

Yeah. Unless that just hit him out of nowhere while the game progressed (he does have heart problems) it was incredibly reckless to come coach the game with what’s going on.

I hope he’s okay though.

If you are that sick and you have to go to work to make this month’s bills I get it. If you are as sick as he looked (again unless it just hit him out of nowhere) there’s no excuse to be coming to work right now if you can at all avoid it. Especially if work is an arena with 10k people.

And I’ll add especially if you are in a leadership role responsible for the health and safety of several young men.

Well at least now we’re qualifying the reasons.

Just read he was just released from the hospital with flu like symptoms…not sure if that means anything.
And the basketball team was released from the arena.

I’m not sure it would be confirmed that quickly. Even the quickest tests take hours for the results to come back.

Influenza A isn’t the common cold. He has the flu. Not sure why the school is calling it the common cold but that’s wrong.

Correct it’s the flu, not common cold, my daughter just got Influenza A also, just cause u feel bad doesn’t mean u have the damn corona virus, there are few cases of actual corona in the US, but that could change

Actually we don’t know how many cases we have because we have not been properly testing.
