New Indoor practice facility video - Construction begins Friday, Nov 18th

Looks like they’re ready to place the UH logo right now.

It’s up!

The exterior looks similar to the Denver Broncos’ IPF.

The IPF cannot get here soon enough. The rain kills routine. I am not in the construction biz, so does anyone know how long it takes to complete a project like this?

One would think that the exterior cosmetics would be secondary to getting the inside of the building ready but then again this is the same administration that thought, lets ask half the crowd wear white but the team wear all red making the Owls wear white.

Inside got flooded chief. Do you complain about everything?

So your reasoning is, they were planning on doing the inside first, but decided to work on the outside while the inside dried up?

My point is that bitching about every little thing serves little purpose. Please provide a detailed outline of their plan for the IPF, or not. It’s tiresome. And the Red White thing is as silly as it get’s in complaining. Good lord.

Do you feel better now that you have gotten that off your chest?

Aerial view of IPF labeled as 15D for now.

There is no reason for the notch now that the IPC blocks the view so when we expand the stadium we can add more seats.

Do you actually internally listen to yourself before you post? Because you don’t come off on the message board like you THINK you come off on the message board, Shaggy.

Why are people so impatient about this?

It sad and hilarious that people are upset that the view of downtown is gone. Can’t people stop realize this is a step forward for the athletics program? I understand it was constructed prematurely but would you rather have view of downtown for 6 home games or recruit better players?

Edit: Also, its as if the value of their ticket has decreased due to the IPF. Are you there to watch the game or buildings from afar?

The reason TDECU is east / west instead of north / south and the notch was designed in was for that view. It was billed as a million dollar view for the TV cameras. Now that view is obstructed by an industrial warehouse looking building. Do we need an IPC? Yes. However, it did not have to be there. It could have been built on the southwest corner of TDECU instead of the northwest corner.

The notch is only a temporary thing. If UH ever get into a P5, they will expand the seats to 60k and have an enclosed bowl. They will build a new press box at the very top of the stadium and the existing press box will become club suites.

Puleeze. The notch was created for the view, however, the tv cameras are high enough to catch a shot of downtown. I couldn’t figure out how the view was so special to fans anyway. Haven’t you seen the downtown skyline already? If you want a view during a fb game, go to Berkley and sit on the east side of Strawberry Canyon. Now THAT’S a view.

I sit in section 307. View is great, you can see the downtown skyline ( for whatever that is worth) and not see the third ward !!

I go to see the game by the by !!!
