His resume is certainly impressive. 19 yr career 541 wins, 2 NJCAA Championships and I think I read where he has had 10 30 win seasons and recently a 43 win season. So Lady’s look like you will have an excellent coach and a winner. Future looking good.

A graduate of Western Kentucky, Gerwig comes to Houston after spending the previous two seasons with Rehr at Arkansas State. His main responsibility with the Cougars will be recruiting future student-athletes to Houston. He will also assist with the training of middle blockers and outside attackers and the scouting of opponents.

During his time with the Red Wolves, Gerwig helped guide A-State to a combined record of 40-26 and the Red Wolves’ fourth-straight 20-win season in his first year. Under Gerwig’s direction, that same season found A-State sit third in the Sun Belt with 261 total blocks.
