Tyus Bowser had a fantastic game in the Ravens 40-0 victory over the Dolphins last night. Bowser made 2 tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss, recorded a pass defensed and also recorded another QB hit.

Nice to see Tyus get some action after being relatively quiet over the last few weeks.

Wrapping up the weekend for our NFL Coogs:

Case Keenum led the Vikings to their 6th win with a 33-17 victory over the Browns. Keenum was 27-43 288 yards 2 TD 1 INT in the win and the Vikings now enter their bye week as the 2nd best team in the NFC.

William Jackson III helped the Bengals defeat the Colts 24-23. Jackson didn’t start, but rotated with the returning, Adam “Pacman” Jones as they took turns defending T.Y. Hilton. Jackson made one tackle and recorded one pass defensed as he recovered after getting beat by a Hilton double-move to knock the ball away. The Bengals are 3-4 and in the mix of a muddled AFC wild-card race.

Elandon Roberts helped the Patriots overcome the loss of Dont’a Hightower as they won a defensive struggle against the Chargers, 18-13. Roberts made 6 tackles and had 1 tackle for loss (see video in one of the posts above this one). The Patriots are again atop the AFC as they are 6-2 and tied with the Steelers for the best record in the conference.

Charles Sims recorded no stats for the Bucs as it seems he’s far down the depth chart now. Bucs lost 17-3 to the Panthers and are now 2-5 on the year.

DJ Hayden didn’t record a stat for the Lions in their 20-15 loss to the Steelers Sunday night, but he did provide good coverage on the Steeler WRs who were burning starting CB, Nevin Lawson early. The Lions are currently 3-4 and starting to fall behind the rest of the pack in the NFC.
