I’m curious when I look at some of the January decommits, over half have not committed to another school. Is there ever cases of a new coach pulling offers from commits or telling a recruit “you probably won’t ever start” in order to free up spots?

Like this receiver would have been one of our top rated recruits for this year, hasn’t committed else where but also happens to be a very small receiver.

I believe I’ve seen it a bit in the past, but I think it’ll start happening more because of the new early signing day. With it coming before the end of the season, some schools won’t have changed coaches and the new coach may not want certain players. Probably one of the biggest drawbacks to the Early Signing Day.

I saw Adeyi committed to Sam Houston State last night.

I dig going heavy on defense the Juco route. Need as much depth as possible. But I see next year’s '20 class as CDH first true class.

Makes sense. Would just feel bad for any kid that has to make such a huge life changing decision in such a short period of time if it wasn’t his or her choice to begin with. Hopefully something very rare among any size school at every college level.
