Great news! I can’t wait to see how much he improves his shooting over the off season
with hinton gone, dejon will likely be our best rebounder next year…
his non scoring stats next season might be crazy…assists, rebounds, steals, blocks (for a guard), fouls drawn…he is likely to lead the team in all those stat categories
if he improves his 3pt% to above 30%…and we get “conference dejon” to be “full season dejon” he could have a really special year
bold prediction: at some point next year dejon breaks houston’s 30 year triple double drought
He is capable of a 3D, especially being how well he can add on at the end of games shooting FTs.
Having him in the rotation gives us more ability to potentially play small ball.
Best news we’ve had this off-season. Even with losing Nate our back court is still easily the best in the conference. Expect to see some four guard lineups. With Sasser, Mills, Grimes, Jarreau, and Gresham on the court we’re not that much shorter than three years ago with Rob, Corey, Galen, Devin, and Brady. I also think Jarreau coming back is big for Gresham’s production.
Hope he puts a full year together, injury free and is laser focused.
I’d love to see it! I’m not sure how our team will line up this fall; but I know we have a ton of talent and a great coach. That being the case, I am confident we will have a great season.
Are we now the favorites to win the Flint, Michigan Megabowl? I surely hope so.
