Landry’s a sophomore this year and will join Coogs in '18-19. He’s a 6’4 225lb INF/RHP out of Ponchatoula, LA. Perfect Game rated him as the 22nd best player out of Louisiana last year and the 2nd best 1B. Last year, Landry hit .300 with 14 homers and 40 RBIs. We’ll probably need a Joe Davis replacement next year and this seems like the guy.

No word yet on his signing status. Still has “UH signee” on his twitter profile. Has until July 6th to sign with the Dodgers.
I’m sure he was offered a 6 figure bonus that was well above slot for his round and frankly in his shoes I can’t imagine myself doing differently.
