I have wondered if Sasser wore down towards the end or just lost confidence in his shot.
Regardless he should be a key player next year with an off season to be strength
I think he just had a freshman season.
Started with a lot of momentum through the scrimmages and early season. Then I think there were times of fatigue and having to adjust to what he was seeing each game. He regained his confidence and gave us glimpses of what he can be. Then defenses caught up and he struggled more to get off the same shots.
Freshmen aren’t use to playing a CBB season and tend to wear down/ I imagine teams changing their defense had something to do with it too.
