That offensive package was not good. Let me say this, and I’ll be clear…

HOUSTON IS NOT A PROGRAM FOR OFFENSIVE COORDINATORS TO LEARN ON THE JOB!

We are a program that deserves coaches that know what they are doing.

You are 100% correct. I hated to come to this conclusion but it is clearly apparent that we have no idea what our identity is.

So I’m not saying I could develop a game plan any better than Johnson, but I know enough to keep on coming back to what works. It was like our offense prepared for Temple in the first half and did a decent job. Second half, it was like they were running the game plan prepared for some other team. Like Memphis since they apparently have not run defense.

Also, at one point, we ran three plays in a row to King and each one was less successful than the one before. I think the last on maybe lost yardage. What kind of coach does that besides Pop Warner dad coaches?

Right! Temple was clearly keying on King after that first touchdown series but our OC calls his number 3x in a row later on anyway?! He must think it’s the 1970’s and we’re UT with Earl Campbell in the backfield.
