Powers Picks

HOUSTON 37 Texas Tech 34. Texas Tech hasn’t missed a beat without Patrick Mahomes this year. Last week the Red Raiders got revenge in a 52-45 win over Arizona St as QB Shimonek threw for 543 yards and 6 TD’s with no interceptions). Houston has looked good in the first two games of the Major Applewhite era especially on defense. QB Kyle Allen is also completing 86% of his passes so far as they are off a 38-3 win over Rice. Texas Tech is 7-2 ATS as an away dog.

Looks like it’s time for Shimonek to throw some picks. This would be a great time for the Jack Boyz to make a grand entrance onto the college football scene.

In other news, I know they have only played terrible teams so far, but USF has 12 freaking INTs already. That’s insane!

not playing good competition will bite them in the end…

Illinois and Oregon State aren’t Arizona and TX Tech but at least they have two P5s. They also have to beat us and UCF.

SDSU got Stanford and AZ State. We’ll see how our conference schedules match up.

Quinton Flowers has no touch. Hes like a fullback who passes this season.
The entire offense is based on Flowers beating at the edges & RBs up the gut.

USF only got Illinois. Other two games were SJSU and Stony Brook as their game against UMass was cancelled.
