HOUSTON 31 Memphis 28. Last year Memphis pulled the upset over Houston 48-44 (+6.5) scoring a TD with just 19 seconds left. Last week Memphis got a 3027 win over Navy but got back-doored late in the game. Still they forced 5 Navy TO’s and still couldn’t get separation in the game. On the other side, Houston was involved in a misleading 45-17 blowout loss to Tulsa as the game was tied at 1010 late in the 3Q. Houston hasn’t lost a conference home game since 2014. Totals’ players note that Houston games are on a 6-0 run to the UNDER this year. Pass.
Misleading Final:
The Houston/Tulsa game was tied at 10-10 with less than 5 minutes left in the 3Q. The game would finish with Tulsa winning 45-17 including a pair of TD’s in the final minute that weren’t necessary as the Golden Hurricane could’ve taken a knee.
