I checked out after the 3rd inning once it was obvious we had it in the bag.

Pray, what do you think about Baylor? They’re 12-1, but A&M looks to be their only good win.

I am still concerned with our hitting, especially with men in scoring position…we simply can’t continue to leave men in scoring position, especially against good teams…

This will be the toughest pitching staff Baylor has faced all year, except for the LSU game last weekend. The Aggies basically shut them down too, but their closer had a meltdown (again) and A&M gave up 5 in the 9th to lose 6-3. Baylor has some sticks and have been scoring a ton of runs; Coogs can’t make a lot of mistakes in the field or on the base paths if they want to win. Pitching-wise, Baylor struggles a bit so the Coogs should put up some runs.

Expect the Friday night game to be low scoring as Baylor’s ace (Lewis) has been money so far and Romero has been the same for us. After that, I think King gives us an edge in whatever game he pitches as he’s been solid this year. Ullom has been a bit shaky so far, although, he’s had some bad luck as well. Coogs should win 2 out of 3 this weekend; if they do, we should feel real good about their chances this year.

Agreed. We’ve been better this year than last, but there are still a lot of runners being left in scoring position. It would be nice if Davis can get his power stroke going again as he’s struggled out of the gate so far. It would also be nice if Julks got going as he’s struggled mightily. If the Coogs get both of this guys going, this lineup would be pretty fearsome.
