Season is fast approaching. Thought I’d take a stab at projecting the 2 deep on offense and defense. Obviously the structure and players could look very different, but this is how offensive depth charts at WV and defensive depth charts at Ark St looked last year.

Good guess and probably close.

Couple of things:

  • Moore won’t be the starter at FS (can’t say anything more than that)
  • Javian Smith is out for the season

I think most of it is good. I’d be surprised if Terrance Edgeston doesn’t start.

Will be interesting to see you does get the starts on DL. CDH said that’s a very deep area, which is good news.

That defense is for a 3-4; we are going to a 4-2 this year. I don’t think Jordan Moore will be starting at FS as of this point – irrespective of the rumor outcome.

Gleson Sprewell is probably our best defensive player. Yet, you have him backing up Jordan Moore. Yikes.

Ooo… some people know something others don’t, so it’s time to laud their knowledge like a badge of honor over others. It means that those in the know are better fans.

Edit: This is tongue in cheek. I don’t like getting involved in the personal lives of the athletes. Play ball for UH, or don’t. Do the right things or don’t. If you don’t, good luck to you in the rest of your life.

Yeah FB was tough. WVU employed one and had one on the depth chart, but there’s not really a true FB on the roster. I’m thinking maybe guys like Eichenberger, Wells, or Creamer slide over.
