I remember Johnny Valentine, and I still have a Wahoo McDaniel football card! Anyone remember Art Grindle’s commercials where he would slam his fist on the cars as they drive by!
By the way, the Cougar basketball broadcasts were brought to us by Pepsi and The Shoe Box… whose slogan was Bless Their Little Soles.
I remember going to see Paul Boesch’s Houston Rasslin’ at the Sam Houston Coliseum when I was a kid.
Who can forget Gino Hernandez, Jose Lothario, Junkyard Dog, Butch Reed, and Kamala?

You guys are bringing back good memories. Here is one of my favorites-Ivan Putski, the Polish Strongman against Sgt. Slaughter. There are many of his matches on U Tube and last I heard he was still at it.
