Yeah, and Thunderbolt Transmission…
Damn…got me on that one.
I remember Johnny Valentine, and I still have a Wahoo McDaniel football card! Anyone remember Art Grindle’s commercials where he would slam his fist on the cars as they drive by!
By the way, the Cougar basketball broadcasts were brought to us by Pepsi and The Shoe Box… whose slogan was Bless Their Little Soles.
I remember going to see Paul Boesch’s Houston Rasslin’ at the Sam Houston Coliseum when I was a kid.
Who can forget Gino Hernandez, Jose Lothario, Junkyard Dog, Butch Reed, and Kamala?
Was the only show on Sunday mornings.
He can charm anybody
The making of a sizzling battle. He said it.
Huge JYD fan here…
Your memory is too good. You sure you weren’t one of those there wrasslers
As Bill Varley (sp?) would say:
Taws, taws, taws; taws for ever make and model.
Per Bill Varley of tire store fame on Friday Night wrestling.
Llama Mr Norman… what memories
“1313 Crosstimbers at Airline”
You guys are bringing back good memories. Here is one of my favorites-Ivan Putski, the Polish Strongman against Sgt. Slaughter. There are many of his matches on U Tube and last I heard he was still at it.
Paul Bosch with the cauliflower ears and Cyclone Anaya, maybe even Andre the Giant, the Von Erich brothers and so many other Friday night entertainers . . . . .
How about Art’s dog, Storm ? ? ? ? ?
I’d be curious to see some of him, other than the restaurants.
Ha! Remember storm! Art Casper and Carl Mann did the play-by. For the wrestling fans, remember Big Mama?
Mr. Norman! And the weird IW Marks commercials with Paul Bosch and his earring.
