Anybody remember how good we were in Men’s Soccer in the early 70s? Say, '72-'73?
We had a bunch of Iranians on the team and they played really well.
[This was before the Iranian Hostage Crisis – the takeover of the US Embassy in Tehran in '79]
What I don’t recall is if this was D1 or just club soccer.
Anyone have recollections?
