Rice Single Game Ticket Date?

For the Texas State game i was endzone all the way at the top on the very last row and i bought my tickets the day they were available. They were bad but being next to some state fans with all of us coogs cheering did make it better.

i bought mine on their website when they first went on sale. the section next to the band i believe.

Hope you don’t get drunk from the smell of alcohol coming from the Rice band, if that is the band you will be seated next to. If not, cancel my statement . . . . .

i meant when i went to the texas st road game and bought tickets from their site.

So you are saying that a person cannot walk up on game day and buy a single ticket for the game?

I got an email from Ticketmaster that seems to indicate single-game tickets will go on sale tomorrow morning.

Ticket prices if you guys want to buy through their site:

GA: 25 DOLLARS
Section 202-2013 (i guess that’s the club level?): 35 DOLLARS
Section 101/102: 35 dollars or 55/60 dollars
Section 103: 40 dollars
Section 104 (midfield): 50
Section 105: 40 dollars
Section 106: 35/60 dollars

All the 100 level on the vistor’s side is 55 dollars except section 110 which is 35 dollars.

Just now purchased 4 tickets, section 104 row 23. $50 each. Rolling the dice we might get some shade. I know the visitors side will be sun baked the whole game so we opted for Rice side.

my seats i bought on stub hub is in section 112 row 2 behind the visitors bench. didn’t want to sit on rice side. i can take the heat. haha

Alfred - In my younger days I was able to handle the heat and extreme sun. My wife almost passed out at the UCLA game a few years ago in The Rob and did not feel too good after the game. My tail gait partner and wife do not have any issues with sitting on Rice side, especially if we get some shade.

If ticket prices on Stub Hub don’t get down a little closer to $20, I’ll be watching this game in the shade of my TV room with a plate of ribs I smoked myself and a nice cold beverage. Can’t bring myself to pay $35-$50 to watch what will either be a scrimmage or a severe disappointment. But I will most certainly be in the stands at TDECU for the Arizona game.

And just like that the aftermarket prices begin to slide. Upper deck GA were $45 and already today you can get lower level reserved for $41.94.

Seriously, if were a way to short tickets I’d have bet all my retirement savings on this…

3 sections for Rice students and band on the visitor side? Guess I know where I’m sitting with my GA tickets.

Don’t worry. That amounts to about 50 seats :sunglasses:

2002Coog. You can purchase from Rice ticket office General Admission (Upper Level Rice side) for $25 per ticket. Then if I had to guess you could probably go down to the lower levels either Rice or U of H side and sit in any of the numerous empty unsold reserved seats.

Is it 25 flat or with fees and tax not included? I feel the same way regarding the price @2002Coog. Any reason they havent opened the visitor GA? im kinda hoping they start giving a deal out closer to the game.

visitor ga section is no longer used by rice. GA is most likely 25.00 plus a fee.

Cristian. When I called the Rice ticket office on August 1 (the date I was given for single game tickets to go on sale) I asked about upper bowl visitor side. I was told it was decided the upper bowl visitor side was permanently closed and no one was allowed to go there. I asked if I ventured up there on my own what would happen. Was told security would make is leave. GA on Rice side is $25 each. I had to pay a $5 fee for 4 $50 tickets in section 104 that I purchased today.
