Corey Davis Jr., the Cougars’ top 3-point shooter, went 0-for-5 to end his streak of 29 straight games with at least one 3.
“I was so focused on helping as much as I could I think I put a little too much pressure on myself,” he said. “I learned from that.”
The focus is on providing Gray help on offense, but UH players said the game could come down to defense.
“Michigan, being from the Big Ten, we know they’re a tough team and they’re going to come and give their best shot,” said forward Devin Davis, who began his career at Indiana. "I think we practice like a Big Ten team.
“So I feel like we’re very built to play against a Big Ten team.”
