I heard scrimmage #2 will be this Saturday 8/18/18. Is this true and if so does anyone know a time?

I thought the next scrimmage was going to be 9/1 at 11am at Rice stadium.

I imagine any scrimmages up until game time would be closed to the general public.

Yes, it is this morning and is probably already under way. I’d expect a scrimmage next week in the morning as well. Not sure exactly on the time.

It was a good scrimmage…lots of positives. Impressed with the qb’s…all the way through the lineup. Smith does need to be on the field…moves and speed. Did well at qb the short time he was in there as well.

Just another quick comments…it does appear that CMA is going to make good on his promise to run a bunch of plays! Also, impressed with the discipline of the practice…both on the coaching and player side.

I’ve never seen these padded helmets before… do they reduce wear and tear? Protect better for a scrimmage?
protects a concussion
They are used in Rugby for years, mostly second row players.
