Both coached under Fuente, former Memphis Coach before taking over Frank Beamer’s team.

Fun fact, our blowout at Blacksburg is STILL the biggest home loss they’ve had.

Rule of thumb should be if they are from the Houston area.

Can someone please explain what the kids gain by entering the portal prior to the end of the season.

I’m old school but we used to call that “quitting.”

Correct just like those 2 players at Texas that opted out, that is quitting! Finish the damn season and then u can skip the bowl game, this is setting a BAD precedent!

I suppose that because literally everyone has a “free” year, that perhaps jumping earlier has an advantage of then being (technically :wink:D’Eriq…) able to have contact with potential programs where you will land…
