SMU appears to have some good coaching candidates lined up:
Kevin Sumlin
Sonny Dykes
Sonny Cumbie
Todd Graham
Todd Orlando
They could do a lot worse. That’s a good pool of candidates, much better than the one our AD put together in my opinion.
Only person i would want on this list was interviewed by UH last year.
I would take any of those in a second except for Graham.
I would too. And despite Graham being a total ass he’s a proven winner as a coach. If SMU hires Him and he coaches up the defense while keeping their offense in tact they have a chance to take the program to new heights.
One Kevin, two Todds, two Sonnys and a partridge in a pear tree. That list is unusual regarding the candidate names.

Sumlin would have to pay us before I would consider him. He cost us about $5 million because we missed out on the Sugar Bowl that year.
If that’s the list, Orlando probably ain’t getting the job.
